Quality Control COORDINATOR

Job Description
The QC Coordinator will be a key position on the team and will report directly to the VP of Operations and the VP of Manufacturing. VERITY has a high emphasis on quality and this position has responsibility to maintain as well as the potential to grow our internal quality department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Plans, executes, and oversees inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables per VERITY’S AQL specifications
Supports First Article inspection on all new products in development stages
Maintains and supports VERITY’S quality manual and documentation requirements
Represents the Quality Control department in evaluating failures, performing technical root cause analysis and developing and executing corrective and improvement actions
Evaluates and improves Quality Control plans for optimization and in-process testing
Supports Receiving/Inspection functions with creating / reviewing raw material specifications
Maintains incoming inspection plans
Performs additional QC rounds as required by customer/vendor
Collects and analyzes production samples to evaluate quality
Maintain
Requirements:
Two-year degree from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of experience in quality control (QC)
Previous experience with AQL standards a plus
Experience with Google sheets or Excel + ability to build formulas
Experience with measuring tools and testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, dynamometers)
Experience with testing equipment calibration a plus
Exceptional attention to detail
Familiarity with metric system a plus
Able to interpret technical drawings and tolerances
