Job Description
VERITY is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. We are a start-up with needs that span across many operational activities. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on supply chain management, procurement, shipping logistics, project management and data/documentation management. There is room for growth and leadership roles in each of those functions!

As a fast-growing startup, our days are busy and our team works quickly. You are ready to dive into a collaborative environment, working with our VP of Operations, CEO, and VP of Manufacturing to follow procedures in place and help build procedures for new business activities.
You are willing to put in the work to grow into a leadership role and contribute to the team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Help support the VP of Operations with day to day operational activities of the company.
Maintain VERITY’S ERP system for inventory, purchasing and stock management. This includes tracking/maintaining inventory, creating POs, packing slips, and generating reports of items shipped/being received.
Work with VERITY’S freight forwarders to coordinate large and small freight shipments.
Work with VERITY’S VP of Operations to coordinate incoming QA process/procedure.
Build Purchasing Bill of Materials that carefully track Cost of Goods sold.
Ship samples/orders to customers as necessary.
Maintain document control/records management For Quality System documentation.
Keep projects and schedules running on time and under budget.
Assist leadership with project coordination & serve as a liaison between departments.
Recommend process improvements, both external and internal, that will increase pace and efficiency of operations of the company.
General administrative help as needed.
Required Experience, Skills, Attributes:
BA/BS Degree or similar college level education
2-3 years of experience in an Operational Support role (or 3-4 years specializing in one of the fields listed).
ERP experience required (Odoo experience preferred)
Previous freight forwarding experience a plus
Passion for the environment and sustainability
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Experience in fast-paced environments
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Google Sheets
