WHAT YOU’LL DO
Support the implementation of VERITY’s goals, strategies, and tactics that drive exposure, traction, and sales
Create tools, systems, and solutions that effectively support sales efforts and expedite the sales cycle
Identify and implement activities, structures, and services to deliver an unmatched customer experience
Gather and summarize marketing and industry claims to create customer and consumer education info/tools
Support marketing management to develop/implement brand identity and intriguing, memorable key messaging
Create and execute new content, materials, and tactics for lead generation such as proposals, sales collateral, email blasts/campaigns, newsletters, press releases, etc. Gather lead database for future marketing efforts
Coordinate and monitor the company’s digital platforms (social media content and ads, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, community interactions). Curation/updates include industry and company news, product launches, etc.
Create and update presentations for VeriTeam training, customer introductions, product detailing, etc.
Ensure marketing materials meet quality and brand standards
Conduct market research on recycling, materials, sustainability, and trends, and analysis of market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Support learning activities, insights, and focus groups related to our industry, customers, and consumers
Assist in implementing customer engagement campaigns with compelling content, increasing demand generation
Support new product commercialization plans, including customer-specific partner opportunities
Serves as liaison with specialized consultants (photographers, designers, PR), vendors/suppliers, and partners
Track and trend sales and marketing metrics, preparing reports as needed
Implement activities that support the company’s commitment to its core values, vision, and mission
Contribute to team building, professional development, and community contribution efforts and activities
Support the department’s activities by collaborating with sales, operations, accounting, and industry partners
Assist marketing management with assignments as needed
WHAT YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, or relevant field preferred
Minimum of three years experience as a marketing associate, coordinator, or related position
Passion for the environment and sustainability
An optimistic attitude and commitment to honesty, authenticity, transparency, and improvement
Understanding of basic marketing principles
Highly fluent in curating and managing social media channels with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram
Experience managing social media advertising spending and strategy
Comfortable working with marketing automation tools such as email management systems and digital platforms
Superior computer skills, including marketing technology apps, design programs (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign), presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides), and MS Office (Excel, Word). Google Suite is a plus
Experience with developing marketing presentations
Technologically savvy with the ability to learn new systems, web-based platforms, and product knowledge
Ability to effectively research and resourcefully solve problems
Analytical and data-driven, with experience leveraging data and trends to generate insights
Business experience in a small company
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive office environment
Highly skilled in prioritizing, organizing, attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
Excellent critical thinking and independent judgment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities (verbal and written skills)
Self-motivated, working with little supervision
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners is preferred
Comfortable with basic accounting principles and budgeting
REPORTS TO
This position reports directly to VERITY Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships
